COMMEMORATIVE SAA REVOLVER WITH ORIGINAL BOX AND SHIPPING SLEEVE. Cal. 45 Colt. S# S65708A. Bbl. 4 3/4". Manufactured in 2011 to commemorate the 175th anniversary of Samuel Colt's monumental foray into the world of firearms and American manufacturing, Colt manufactured just 175 black powder frame revolvers in each bbl. length (4 3/4", 5 1/2" & 7 1/2"). Revolvers were mfg. with full Royal Blue finish & 24K gold plating. Vine type gold plated scroll can be found throughout. Backstrap emblazoned with Colt dome and Sam Colt's signature. Left side of bbl. bears gold plated banner "1836-175th ANNIVERSARY-2011". Revolver is fitted with 2 piece checkered hard rubber eagle motif grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original 2 piece blue Colt box with styrofoam inserts containing hang tag, lock, key and paperwork. Matching numbered white shipping sleeve is included. CONDITION: all aspects near excellent; appears new. (26-1943/BH). MODERN. $2,750-3,750.
